Weird Alexa Rankings

I just happened to check my Alexa rankings for my BlackBerry Weblog and according to their stats, traffic to RIMarkable has been on the decline since February. The weird thing is that according to my internal server stats, Google Analytics, Site Meter, and AdSense Page Impressions, this particular site has been on the rise. In fact, according to everything but Alexa, RIMarkable has grown by about 20% during the last month.

This is not really a big deal because I have no plans on selling this site, however, I know that Alexa ranking is a key indicator as to the health of a website and the fact that their stats for my site are exactly opposite of what actually is happening is kind of concerning.

I guess that Alexa ToolBar users don’t like BlackBerry…
