Our BlackBerry Blog, RIMarkable, Needs An Overhaul

As some of you may already know we run a blog called RIMarkable that is a site dedicated to the BlackBerry. As far as our blogs go, RIMarkable is by far the most successful bringing in tens of thousands of unique visitors every day. Although we never really set out to make money from RIMarkable, it brings in more than enough to pay the hosting fees each year. To be honest, we do quite well with it.

One issue that I have with RIMarkable is that the design is very outdated. I can’t help but think that the pictures of the 3 year old devices aren’t helping too much, and, in fact, may even detract from the content a bit. Our BlackBerry blog is need of a serious overhaul and I am not quite sure if we should just slap a premium theme up or actually hire a designer to come up with something for us.

I am going to have to make a decision on this in the short term but am not sure where to even start.
