Is Google Analytics having issues?

Is Google Analytics having issues? It seems like my stats have been down since Friday morning. I haven’t made any changes, however, the tracking code does not appear to be working as the reports tell me that I have had zero visitors to any of the three blogs being tracked on GA.

Same Issue here - my report data stopped updating on friday, 8 am. That is a 60 hour break by now :(.
Hopefully atleast the tracking itself is not broken, but only the report generation is delayed. Google needs to improve the GAnalytics performance - obviously they are not able to scale this service as well as they need to when offering it for free. Since google favores “versioning” of service branding, I would propose “Analytics Alpha”

Blogs hosted on Google’s Blogspot have been down most of this weekend as well. I wonder what’s going on over there?

Same up here in Canada. Zilch since Friday morning.
The Google tracking is great - love it - and it’s normal they crash at the beginning - but it is a real mystery why they are not telling us what level of disaster we are part of… bad marketing… always tell the folks what is going on, be level with people and most people will understand. The secrecy is weird and people’s imaginations go to workFebruary 5th, 2006 at 7:46 pm -

Update on the issue: Report data started flowing in again for my accout. By now I can access full data for Sunday. However it looks like tracking was completly down on saturday from about 8am to 12pm, no data collected during that timeframe, although logfile shows me lots of traffic…
Google, come on, inform the users! After all you always say it is all about information ;). BTW, Support ticket is open and unanswered since 4 days…

I too have noticed report data flowing in again, however, I am not showing any statistics for today. I konw that the reports have never been real time but they usually have been within 8-12 hours of being current.

I had the same problem and couldn’t find anything on the internet about it at first (the 3rd), so I submitted a support ticket. It was answered Monday, saying that data from reports was delayed and that they were working to resolve the problem (but not to worry, that my data was not lost).
I like Google Analytics, but I don’t like not having statistics (and it already takes too long to update with new data anyway, in my opinion), so I signed up for a back up account with StatCounter.February 8th, 2006 at 7:09 pm
