Time for Something New

I have been blogging for about three years now and as I look back on 2006, I think that it is time for something new. I am not going to quit blogging nor am I going to quit my day job to become a full time professional blogger (At least not yet). I am, however, going to try to position myself so that blogging full time, or, more probably, starting a business around blogging may be more of an option for me in the future.

One of the first domains that I registered specifically for blogging was Bloggerpreneur.com. I have to admit that at the time, I truly didn’t give the name a lot of thought. I had a copy of Entrepreneur magazine sitting on my desk and thought that I should start a site about business blogging. Bloggerpreneur was registered about 5 minutes later.

Truth be told, even though Bloggerpreneur is one of my oldest blogs I really never did anything with it beyond the occasional post every few weeks. Towards the end of last year I started tossing the idea of starting a business around blogging up so I think it is only appropriate to re-launch Bloggerpreneur.
